Events for the Week of October 26th
Good morning everyone! Welcome to this week's exciting list of events around Nashville. Here are some of the highlights:
Indie folk artist Ian Sweet is performing at DRKMTTR tonight and tomorrow night The Eighth Room is hosting a special edition of Hooked: Halloween Wild Card Night.
The Alex Murphy Trio Presents a Charlie Brown Halloween at Rudy's Jazz Room on Wednesday and Friday, which sounds incredibly wholesome.
On Thursday, PUP are headlining Eastside Bowl. But if you're avoiding seminal fourth-wave emo because it reminds you of the communist public school teacher you briefly dated— Nashville based rock and soul duo Bird and Byron are playing at The Underdog and indie folk artists Colin Miller + Styrofoam Winos will be at The Basement on Thursday as well.
Alt-country legend Neko Case will be performing at Ryman Auditorium on Friday featuring special guests Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Dan Bejar (Destroyer) as well as co-headliner Allison Russell.
If you're brave enough to go out on Saturday for Halloween, virtuoso bassist and producer Thundercat is playing Marathon Music Works and Beck will be headlining at The Truth.
The Nashville Symphony will be joined by Chandler Currier on tuba for Musical Landscapes from Bohemia to America conducted by Ken-David Masur at Schermerhorn Symphony Center Friday and Sunday.
